Flame Distribution has announced a slew of sales deals for its factual titles.
Recent sales include a 130-hour programming package deal with Oposum in Albania and Kosovo. Titles include wildlife titles Bahama Blue, The Island Project and science series The Age of Robots. The Island Project has also been acquired by Horse & Country TV whilst The Age of Robots was sold to Axess Publishing in Sweden. Bahama Blue is also part of a package deal with HRT in Croatia and has been acquired by Spanish public broadcaster RTVE along with the second series of Redesign My Brain. Redesign My Brain has also been sold to DR in Denmark.
New science title The Kingdom: How Fungi Made Our World has been sold to ITI Neovision in Poland and public broadcaster YLE in Finland. YLE also acquired Frank Lloyd Wright: The Man who Built America.
TV4 Sweden acquired the crime series The Sheriffs Are Coming whilst Mind over Money sold to Discovery Poland.
Down Under, NGC Network Australia acquired new history title Kokoda - The Spirit Lives whilst Australia public broadcaster SBS acquired the documentary It’s Not Just Me.
In France, public broadcaster France Ô acquired Zach’s Ceremony; AB Thematiques picked up French speaking rights for the series Restoration Garage, Pet Island and The Hunters Club; RMC acquired the first series of Railroad Australia and the fifth series of Outback Truckers.
In South Africa, Ignition Channel acquired the series Bike World, Restoration Garage and Ultimate Wheels whilst lifestyle series Get Growing was sold to the Home Channel.
Cignal TV in the Philippines acquired food series A Chef’s Life and Ben’s Menu.
