Off The Beaten Track was also acquired by Discovery Poland as part of a package also including Travel Safe Not Sorry, Mushers: Conquering the Yukon Quest and Greeks of the Sea. TVN in Poland licensed the one hour documentary It's Not Just Me.
Czech public broadcaster Ceska TV acquired travel series New Zealand From Above while Czech Free TV Prima picked up a package including the series Scrap Kings, Killing Machines and Railroad Australia and the documentaries China's Hidden Monkeys, Nicholas & Alexandra: the Letters and The Kingdom: How Fungi Made our World.
The Kingdom: How Fungi Made our World continues its world domination having also sold to Servus TV in Austria, Nat Geo ANZ, Spafax for Lufthansa and Global Eagle for Emirates Airlines. The Kingdom has been picked up by Al Jazeera as part of a package also including Food Fighter, Frank Lloyd Wright: The Man That Built America, Indian Wedding Race, The Surgeon and the Soldier, War/ Peace and Mind Over Money.
Kuwait TV fell for Irish chef Donal Skehan having acquired his Kitchen Hero: Donal’s Irish Feast and Donal Skehan's Kitchen Hero series. In Israel, Ananey licensed the three documentaries The Surgeon and the Soldier, Here Right Now and Lebanese Beauty Queens. Discovery will show Canadian food series Love Food through their MENA feed.
In France, public broadcaster France TV acquired health title Is Sugar the New Fat? while France Ô will show Australian doc Occupation Native. The Dinosaur Echo has been acquired by Axess TV in Sweden. Finally Fox India picked up the successful food Australian series Food Safari Earth.
