On the 8th June 1982, at the height of the Falklands War, 53 men lost their lives in the Argentine air attacks on the British ships, Sir Galahad and Sir Tristram. For the British military, this was the largest number of fatalities in a single incident since World War II.
30 years on - using never seen before archive, CGI and reconstruction - we tell the complete story of the events that led up to this attack. New testimony shows that this disaster was avoidable.
It is a story of untold heroism and a catastrophic human waste.
